Plane OS is operated by Seren Digital Pty Ltd (ABN pending), an Australian company. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “Plane OS” refer to Seren Digital Pty Ltd. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What information we collect

We collect the following types of personal information:

  • Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and business name when you sign up or join the waitlist.
  • Call data:when our AI receptionist answers calls on your behalf, we process the caller’s phone number, call duration, and a summary of the conversation. Call recordings may be stored to improve service quality.
  • Payment information: billing details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number on our servers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interactions with our website, collected via PostHog analytics.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the Plane OS AI receptionist service.
  • To send you call summaries, lead notifications, and service updates via SMS and email.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To improve our AI models and service quality.
  • To comply with Australian legal obligations.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted in Australia where available) with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, access controls, and regular security reviews. Only authorised personnel have access to personal information.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Twilio — phone calls and SMS delivery
  • Resend — transactional email
  • PostHog — product analytics
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI conversation processing
  • Vercel — website hosting

Each provider has their own privacy policy and data handling practices. We select providers that maintain appropriate security standards.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies to understand how visitors use our website. We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

8. Data retention

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and business purposes. Call data is retained for 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of Plane OS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
